What are they? An instant book meeting room is a room that can be booked immediately through Desana, without needing to wait for manual approval from the workspace.

How do they work? You can find instant book meeting rooms by selecting the 'Instant book' filter (find filters to the right hand side of the search bar) when exploring meeting rooms on the Desana map. Once you have selected this filter, all of the instant book meeting rooms will show on the map.

When reviewing instant book rooms you will only be able to submit requests for rooms with availability on the date and time selected (exactly like the hot desk booking experience).

What if my employer requires internal approvals? In this case your booking request will be sent to your team approver before being sent to the workspace. Desana will make our best effort to hold the requested date/time with the workspace but you will still need to wait on final confirmation of availability after your team's approver approves your booking request.
