How do I book an event space?

There are two ways to find and book event spaces via Desana - either directly through the event spaces already listed or as a bespoke request via our concierge team:

  1. In app booking request - submitted via a specific event listing on the app. We currently have over 500 unique event venues for you to choose from. These enquiries require a minimum of 72 hours notice and are subject to the availability of the venue.

  2. Bespoke booking request - submitted via the in-app support, so that we can help find the space that suits your event. The in-app support asks a series of questions to assist us with finding a suitable venue. These enquiries require a minimum of one month’s notice.

With all event enquiries, the more advance notice you can give us the better, to maximise your choice of options, or the likelihood of your preferred venue being available.

How to book an event space listed in the app

If you’re using the mobile app

  1. On the explore page (map) tap the Desk button below the search bar.

  2. Select Event space.

  3. Choose the number of attendees in the drop-down list.

  4. Enter your chosen location.

  5. The search results will be shown at the bottom of the page - in case there are no options in the area, you’ll be prompted to contact our concierge team.

  6. After choosing your preferred space, tap Request event space.

  7. We'll then ask you a few more questions about your event.

Your request will then be sent to our team and they will get back to you with the next steps.

If you’re using the web app

  1. On the app homepage, select the Event space option located at the top of the screen

  2. Enter a location and click Search.

  3. You’ll be taken to a list of event spaces in the location you selected - in case there are no options in the area, you’ll be prompted to contact our concierge team.

  4. To customize your search, click the funnel icon and select desired facilities or attendee count.

  5. The options will be displayed on the left side of the screen.

  6. Click on the space name or image to view its profile and access more information about the space.

  7. To request an event space, simply click on the Request event space button.

  8. We'll then ask you a few more questions about your event.

Your request will then be sent to our team and they will get back to you with the next steps.

How to find and book an event space not yet shown in the app

We have a variety of event spaces available through our network, and our concierge service offers access to an even wider selection of options.

Our dedicated team is committed to making it easy for you to find the ideal location for your event, so don’t hesitate to reach out when looking for the perfect space. The process is very simple:

  1. On the app's homepage, click on the Desana Events banner Get started with Desana Events.

  2. We'll then ask you a few more questions about your event.

  3. Your request will be forwarded to our team who will respond within 3-5 business days (it might take longer for more complex booking requests).

Important: The earlier you submit your request, the greater the likelihood of finding a suitable option for you. We strongly recommend submitting your request well in advance of the event date.

Note: if your organization requires approval for event space requests, then your request will be sent through to an approving manager within your organization, before being sent to the workspace itself.
