Desana offers three ways to connect your spaces so that Desana users can book them without back-and-forth emails: our OfficeRnD integration, our Nexudus integration, and our Google Calendar integration. This article helps you pick the right one for your setup.
The short answer
The right integration depends on the space management system you already use:
You use OfficeRnD: use the OfficeRnD integration. It's our most complete integration.
You use Nexudus: use the Nexudus integration.
You don't use a space management system: use the Google Calendar integration. If your meeting rooms exist as resources in Google Workspace, Desana can sync bookings directly with their calendars.
If you use a different space management system, or you're not sure which option fits, contact our team and we'll find the best way to connect your spaces.
What each integration does
OfficeRnD
Our most complete integration. It provides:
Up-to-date inventory sync (locations and meeting room resources), including your opening hours and pricing
Two-way booking sync: bookings made on Desana appear in OfficeRnD, and availability in OfficeRnD is respected on Desana
Double-booking prevention, since only genuinely available times can be booked
"Instantly bookable" resources on Desana, which improves booking conversion
Setup is self-serve: you create a Desana company and a developer application in OfficeRnD, then send us the details. See our OfficeRnD Integration article for the step-by-step guide.
Nexudus
Inventory sync from your Nexudus account (locations and resources you choose to share)
Bookings made on Desana are created in your Nexudus system for available times
Setup starts in the Nexudus Marketplace: open the Desana app, agree to our operator terms, and toggle on Enabled and Resources. Our team then reaches out to complete onboarding. See our Nexudus Integration article for details.
Google Calendar
Built for operators who don't use a space management system but manage rooms through Google Workspace:
Bookings made on Desana are created, updated, and removed as events in each room's Google Calendar
Desana checks each calendar's free/busy status before confirming, so double bookings are prevented
Desana writes only minimal booking details into the events it creates, and stores only the date and time of calendar events
Setup involves sharing each resource calendar with Desana with the Make changes to events permission and sending us your resource list. See our Google Calendar Integration article for the step-by-step guide.

A few things to keep in mind
You only need one integration. Pick the one that matches where your availability actually lives.
Whichever integration you use, please don't create, update, or cancel bookings for Desana users directly in your own system. We won't receive those changes and you may not be paid for them. Contact our operator support team via your Desana operator dashboard instead.
If your space management system isn't listed here, get in touch. We work with several other systems for larger operators and can advise on the best route.
If you still have questions about choosing a Desana integration, feel free to reach out to our Customer Support team via the in-app support chat or at [email protected].
