Desana integrates with OfficeRnD to allow our users to create meeting room bookings directly in your system for times which are definitely available. No more booking requests or being double booked!
What does the integration do?
Provides up to date inventory information to Desana (office locations and meeting room resources)
Provides a two way sync of bookings from your system to Desana and from Desana to your system
Prevents double bookings by ensuring that only available times can be booked
Enables your resources to be displayed as “Instantly bookable” within our system which improves booking conversion
Getting setup
Step 1 - Create a new "Desana" company
Step 1 - Create a new "Desana" company
All bookings created via Desana will be created via a dedicated company, which allows for easy filtering of all the bookings which are sent to you via Desana.
Head to Community > Companies
Click the "Add company" button on the top right of the page
Set the name to "Desana"
Set the "Start Date" to today's date
Choose any location
Click "Add"
You'll then be taken to that company's page
Make a note of the ID of the newly created "Desana" company.
💡 The company ID is the last part of the URL when you're viewing that company's profile.
For example, if the URL is:
https://app.officernd.com/your-company-name/community/teams/65d4c9d7eabef983c8a68b9a
Then 65d4c9d7eabef983c8a68b9a
is the company ID.
Step 2 - Create a new developer application

Create a new developer application with read and write permissions.
Name it Desana, or something more relevant to your organisation.
Once you've create the application, click "View" to the right of the application.
Copy the Client ID and the Client Secret

Which information is shared with Desana from our OfficeRnD system?
We use two types of information: inventory details; and basic booking details.
Due to the limitations of OfficeRnD's permissions model, all third party applications have full access to OfficeRnD. As such, as a workspace operator using OfficeRnD, you should be aware of the third party applications you integrate with, including Desana.
We take data privacy and information security very seriously and we understand that any integration which deals with personally identifiable information (PII) requires the highest standards of data privacy and information security. As such, we are proud to say that we are the only business in our category with an ISO 27001 and an ISO 27701 certification.
This goes above and beyond the more common SOC Type II standard. It is also what allows us to work with some of the largest companies in the world (Desana is only B2B).

If I need to create/update/cancel a booking for a Desana user, how should I do that?
Please contact our dedicated workspace operator support team via your Desana operator dashboard and they'll assist you.
