How are workspace results ordered?

Written by Customer-Team

When you search for spaces, Desana orders the results to put your most likely matches first. Here's the short version.

  • Best matches first. Results are ranked by how well each space matches your search and filters. Spaces that meet all of your criteria rank above spaces that only meet some of them, and you may see labels like Exact Match (the space matches all of your filter criteria) or Partial Match on the results.

  • Nearest first, when we know you're there. If your current location is inside the area you're searching, results are also sorted by distance, so the spaces closest to you appear first. If you're searching an area you're not currently in (say, planning a trip to another city), distance to you isn't used and results are ordered by match quality instead.

That's it. Moving the map or changing your filters re-runs the search, so the order always reflects what you're currently looking at.
